GAY PEOPLE'S CHRONICLE 1993 PRIDE GUIDE
Our Pride Is Showing Everyday Of The Year
We are proud to be Cleveland's Gay-Lesbian Spiritual Community. We do not take our calling lightly. We know that the Creator has called us to a special ministry with beautiful people like you, your friends, spouses, significant others and loved ones.
We pray everyday that people like you will feel comfortable and welcomed at the table of the holy one. So often many of us felt we were not welcomed before God's throne. We were told we couldn't be God's children and true to our sexual orientation. Thus, many of us turned away from God, the church or spirituality because we were rejected. It wasn't our fault. It was their cruelty that denied us access to the Sovereign.
They lied! They lied! Did you hear that? They lied! God loves you for who you are. No matter what's going on in your life the creator welcomes you at the table. As a matter of fact, God has a special place for you and a great big affirming hug, for you are God's child.
Cleveland it's time to come to your spiritual gay-lesbian home. We are so proud to be the safe place you've been looking for. We're here for you.
